From a Montecito estate collection of high-end vintage and designer jewelry comes this exceptional and RARE vintage Marcel Boucher figural Praying Mantis brooch. It has colorful pearlized enamel painting and pave rhinestones set in gold and rhodium plated metal. It is in very good-excellent condition, no missing or discolored stones, enamel has very little to no wear showing. Marked with the early "MB" hallmark near the tail end. I believe that I read that Marcel patented this design. This is a top-tier collector piece!
