We try to describe everything very carefully, and since items are not new there may be some wear and imperfections.

When fine jewelry items are not marked for metal content (karat), metals are tested. When they are marked, we usually don't test them but try to include a photograph of that hallmark. We are a smoke free house and we have 2 dogs, but we cannot guarantee that these were the conditions prior to their "landing" in our house. We do not buff or polish away years of patina that we feel enhances the impression of the piece. In order to make it easier for you to understand what is our impression from each item condition, we present this simple guide.
