Vintage Sultan Face and Sword Scimiter Double Brooch Pin Chatelaine

Sultan & Sword Chatelaine Brooches. Sultan Face & Sword Double Brooch Chatelaine. Amethyst & Clear Rhinestones set in Goldtone. Sultan Size is 2-1/4" by 1-3/4". Sword Size is 2-1/2" by 1-1/4".

Chains Measure 7" and 8" long. Perhaps this Sultan and Scimiter Sword chatelaine represents one of Scheherazade's stories straight out of the. His face is exotically mideastern and he wears a jeweled turban and earrings.

The "jewels" are amethyst and clear rhinestones, also seen ion the paved sword. The center stones of the turban and earrings are mounted with rivets and prongs so they are secure.

The base metal is gleaming goldtone. Both pieces are brooches with safety clasp closures. They are joined together by one of the chains. The other chain is connected as a dangle to each of the Sultan's ears. Condition is Very Good with minor evidence of use.
