Vtg Blue Molded Glass Pom-Pom & Tom-Tom 1949 Brooches by Alfred Philippe-Trifari

Inspired after silk rag dolls carried by the French infantry for good luck, Nenette and Rintintin's were designed and patented by renowned jewelry designer Alfred Philippe for Trifari in 1943. In 1949 Trifarire-designed the pair in colored glass and renamed them Pom- Pom and Tom -Tom. This pair is in molded blue glass and also has tiny clear crystals in some places. The metal is rhodium plated for added shine and durability. Finding a pair in excellent vintage condition such as these is extremely rare, don't miss the opportunity to own a matching pair.
