Vintage CORO Jelly Belly Cat Pin Rhinestone Feline Brooch No Whiskers

Hard to find Coro jelly cat is not perfect but she is here for you. This cat lost her whiskers at some time in her life and also got into a cat fight or two ending up with a few scratches on her belly. She has managed to keep all her rhinestones in place but did lose a bit of plating on her back near the Coro name.

Her pin shaft needs to be smoothed off so it will slip through a garment easily. The only operation this feline femme fatale underwent was to the catch side of her pin assembly. It was soldered years ago by a good doc because everything still functions properly. She isn't perfect but are any of us? This sparkling Coro cutie measures approximately 1 5/8" x 1 1/4".

It is estimated she was born around 1950. She's been with me for years but now wants a change of scenery. Thanks for taking a look at part of my personal collection.
