Antique French Art Nouveau 1900 Sterling & Rhinestone Frame Pendant Brooch, 14g

This gorgeous frame for portrait of photograph dates to c1900. It is in the classic art nouveau style with organic twirls and tendrils and just too beautiful. White and green rhinestones ranging from 1.5mm to 2mm diameter add sparkle and zest. It is marked for 925 sterling silver on the back. It has both C-clasp and pin and bale so can be worn as either pendant or brooch / pin. The total weight is 14.3 grams. The overall dimensions are: 47mm (L) x 37mm (W). Clasp is in good working order. Circular bevelled glass frontice (18mm diameter) is included as well as the original little hand-colored photograph of a baby, however the back "hatch" of the picture hole is missing. Otherwise, apart from patina, this piece is in excellent original condition.
