Boucher Peacock Brooch Signed Vintage

This lovely peacock brooch is a little work of art with its graceful cobalt blue enamel neck, blue and green rhinestones stones, and green cabs on gold tone feathers. All of the stones and enamel seem to be in good vintage condition. Please view the photos as part of item description. The brooch is slightly under 2 at its widest. The pin stem is straight and the rolling clasp operates easily.

You will find the Boucher signature and the number (c) 8908 on the back near the rivets of this three dimensional wonder. Born in Paris, Marcel Boucher studied under Cartier in the 1920's. In the 1930's having moved to New York he then designed for Mazer Brothers before establishing his own business in 1937.
