Early Vintage 1940s Marcel Boucher Sterling and Rhinestone Ballerina Brooch PinGorgeous early 1940's Marcel Boucher sterling and rhinestone ballerina brooch. Boucher designed a series of these ballerinas and this is the most beautiful and rare of them all. She has a gold vermeil finish and lovely prong set open back pink crystal rhinestones decorating her skirt.
Her bodice and skirt are pave set with sparkling clear crystal rhinestones. She measures 2 1/2" wide and is 1 3/4" tall.
She is signed sterling and the number 20 on the reverse. Many of Boucher's early pieces were signed with only a number. She has a secure safety clasp. This graceful ballerina is in near excellent condition with only slight wear to the vermeil finish no DAMAGE Regarding the photos: the extreme close ups cause an appearance of scratches and pitting to the metal. This is only in the pictures, the metal is in beautiful condition. A very elegant and rare brooch to add to your fine jewels collection! She's just exquisite and I'm sure you will enjoy wearing her! Comes in a sturdy gift box and packaged securely to insure safe arrival.
