This signed massive rare Vendome brooch showcases complex mid century jewelry engineering, built on a multi tiered gold tone frame with heavy rivet-and-solder assembly on the reverse. The front composition features high profile prong settings holding a massive round center crystal, an emerald-cut topaz stone, and surrounding oval, marquise, and chaton rhinestones interwoven with die-struck textured brass leaves. On the reverse, solid closed back metal cups protect the back of each stone while adding nice weight and structural durability to the piece.
