Jewel Encrusted Large Sterling Sword & Sheath Vintage Brooch withRhinestones

This is an incredible'JEWELED vintage large sword and scabbard brooch, marked Sterling and Pat. I have seen these identified as Mandel pieces. The hilt of the sword has a large oval "ruby" red rhinestone and sparkling crystal rhinestones with a fleur de li on the very top of the hilt. The scabbard has a flat black background with sections of silver metal, all encrusted with rhinestones, and blue and turquoise cabochons highlighting all that rhinestone decoration. The sword does come out of the scabbard as shown in the photographs. There is a double safety chain on the sword and scabbard. On the back of the sword hilt on each side of the guard, STERLING is written on one side and PAT. This is a fabulous vintage brooch, in great condition! It measures about 4 1/4" from end to end and is about 1 1/4" across.
