Made In France Vintage Brooch Domed Rhinestone Embedded Attr Roger Scemama

The brooch is divided into four pie shaped sections with silvertone channels inset with shimmering crystal baguette rhinestones. Each pie shaped section is inset with ruby red and emerald green rhinestones and highlighted with two crystal baguettes. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition and has been attributed to a Roger Scemama design. This jewel of a brooch is a little over 1 1/2 across.

Moved to Paris in 1922 where he began parure-making. Worked for the most famous French Haute Couture houses and resurrected the use of crystal in fashion in the 1950s.
