RARE Vintage Christian Dior Figural Gold Plated Bord Brooch! Large & FABULOUS

This brooch is amazing and rare! Signed Christian Dior, this brooch is large and depicts a bird in flight with a rhinestone eye and rhinestone faceted crystal in the body.

One of the "feathers" in the wing on the bottom portion of the bird is inset with crystal rhinestones, while another feather has a design in the metal (as does one feather on the top). The gold plated or gold tone metal is shiny and has minor nicks and scuffs under magnification as is expected from a piece this age.

The brooch is 2 1/2" from end to end and about 2" from top to bottom. Fabulous piece that I have never seen before. What an marvelous gift this would make!
