Vintage 1950's La Roco Gripoix Glass Mogul Style Rhinestone Dragon Pin/Brooch

A 1950's La Roco Gripoix glass mogul style rhinestone dragon pin/brooch. La Roco produced very high quality jewelry and the Gripois stones are vyer high quality, handcrafted costume jewelry components made from poured glass that are then rounded. La Roco was a french company founded by Augustine Gripoix in the late 19th century.

The glass stones are open backed and the light reflects through making the stones bright and lovely from the bright colors used. I cannot find one missing stone or any damage or unusual wear on this lovely piece. There are small clear rhinestones aroung the lets and feet and nose and a green rhinestone used to make his eye.

The dragon is extremely detailed, with his teeth very visible as well as his feet, bocy and scales. Just a very remarkable piece.
