3 stones are blacker from dirt or could be missing? I can't make up my mind, and it is easy to miss missing stones. In the making gold lines in the gold stem. The green enamel paint looks good, overall.

The little latch is hard to work. It hasn't been used for a very long time. It opens, but I have a hard time closing it. I think it is me because it latches in a fancy motion. Nice brooch in good pre-owned condition.
