Vintage Crown Trifari Key Shape Pin Brooch 1950 ALFRED PHILIPPE PAT # 159520. Vintage Patent Pending signed Trifari rhinestone key brooch or pin in gold plated metal. This design is by Alfred Philippe, the patent granted on August 1, 1950 which makes a patent pending design date precede the patent. This brooch dates from 1949 to 1950.
The patent number is 159520 (from the Trifari Patent Site) and belongs to Trifari, Krussman & Fishel, Inc. This gorgeous and scarce Trifari brooch measures 1 9/16" long and is 1 1/16" at the widest point. (images enlarged to show detail). Marked Trifari with the crown over the T and Pat Pend on the reverse.
