Vintage Jelly Belly Cat and Fishbowl Aquilino Brooch 1946

I have been asked to represent an impressive collection of costume jewelry. This collection spans 30 years and includes many one-of-a-kind pieces as well as rare, flawless items that represent the bygone era of unique Jewelry.

Here is a vintage 1946 Aquilino cat and fishbowl pin. This was a copy of the Trifari pin made the same year. It has clear rhinestones lining the top of the bowl and bottom of the pin and ruby rhinestones for the eyes and under the bowl. The copy seems to be valued almost as much as the original.

This is a hard to find pin. The pin is made from base metal that was gold vermeil with a lucite fishbowl.

The fish is carved into the back of the bowl and painted. The size is 2.5" x 1.5".
