A matched pair of figural bird brooches, each little bird perched on a leafy branch with a large faceted aqua-blue glass belly, a swirled eye, and a small pink rhinestone accent on the branch. Designed as mirror-image scatter pins to be worn together. The rose-gold (vermeil) wash over sterling gives a warm pinkish tone. Both pins are stamped STERLING. The rose-gold vermeil shows expected age patina and light wear.
The faceted glass bellies and pink accent stones are secure in their settings. Both rollover safety-catch clasps open and close properly. Silver: Both pieces stamped STERLING. Maker: Unhallmarked as to maker. The design matches 1940s REJA-style birds, but we cannot attribute it to a specific maker.
Listed as "REJA style" for that reason. Stones: The aqua-blue bellies are faceted glass / rhinestone (open-back); the pink accents are glass.
These are not natural gemstones. All known characteristics (glass stones, unsigned/unattributed maker) are disclosed and shown in photos.
