Vintage Schreiner Green Olivine Rhinestone Acorn Brooch Unique Oak Leaf. The Schreiner family were of German dissent and the Oak tree is the National Tree of Germany. To see this embellishment on their acorn piece is delightful. I've had several the the Schreiner Acorn brooches, all with rhinestone settings on the stem, and this is a first for myself and I'm sure others. Very dimensional with the nut being designed all the was around. The bottom of the brooch is done green rhinestone with the top of the nut being olivine rhinestones. The metal leaf has a lot of detail.

The metal is gold toned. The brooch measures 2.25 inches by 2 inches. The acorn is 1 inch across both left to right, front to back and top to bottom. This brooch has the traits we look for in Schreiner jewelry including correct pin back dimensional construction.
