Vintage Christmas Corsage Pin Brooch by St. John is a puffy red enamel bow dangling a fantasy of holiday foliage dangling a tumble of beautiful enamel and rhinestone ornaments with simulated pearl and rhinestone floral accents and a dangling red ribbon tail. John Christmas jewelry was made for a short time. The pieces were relatively expensive and they are prized for their fashionable, detailed designs and luscious upscale execution.
The enamel is translucent and the vibrant colors change with the light and reflections from the other parts of the pin as the sparkling rhinestones flash with your every movement. This beauty measures approximately 4-1/2 x 2-1/4 and has a safety closure. John 2002, on an oval signature plaque on the reverse of the pin. It is in Excellent Condition and appears never to have been worn.
These are so scarce and they are some of the best, IMHO. John Christmas Pin Brooch will arrive in its own, original signature gift box with sparkly black pillow inside, ready to love or give.
