VTG RARE CROWN TRIFARI 1960s PEA POD BROOCH FX GRADUATED PEARLS FIGURAL GREAT

Vintage, dates to 1966, Trifari's special "Gems of the Sea" Series "Pea Pod" Brooch. Brushed Gold Plated Setting holds 5 Faux Graduated Pearls, which seem to float inside the Pod.

Clear Rhinestones are prong set into the Vine Cap and decorate graceful curling tendrils. Designer Alfred Phillipe was well known for his use of invisible settings -- and this particular brooch is a great example of his fabulous craftsmanship! Measures 5/8" front to back (of pin clasp) and 2 7/8" L x 7/8 W. This vintage brooch is in a excellent / perfect vintage condition. It has a very sophisticated, unique & elegant appearance!
